Lab Aid

“Enhancing Laboratory Medicine in Developing Countries”

LabAid is a dedicated initiative of Bioreach, committed to improving Laboratory Medicine in developing countries. Our mission is to enhance access to diagnostic testing, quality control, and training for laboratory professionals. With a focus on addressing the unique challenges faced in resource-limited settings, LabAid collaborates with partners and organizations to make a lasting impact.

With LabAid, we believe that access to reliable laboratory equipment is crucial for effective healthcare delivery. That’s why we are working tirelessly to gather and secure donated laboratory equipment for distribution. One of our primary goals is to collect point-of-care testing equipment, enabling healthcare workers in Africa to provide faster and more accurate diagnoses, even in remote areas.

In addition to equipment procurement, LabAid offers invaluable assistance in developing standard operating procedures, implementing quality control measures, and establishing quality assurance policies. We understand the importance of adhering to international standards, and we provide guidance based on The World Health Organization’s (WHO) framework for reinforcing laboratory systems in resource-limited settings. By helping laboratories meet these standards, we aim to improve the overall quality and reliability of diagnostic services in these regions.

We are always grateful for equipment donations from individuals, organizations, and companies who share our vision. If you would like to contribute to our cause by donating laboratory equipment, please reach out to our dedicated team at: admin@bio-reach.org.

Your donation can make a significant difference in enhancing healthcare outcomes and saving lives.

Current Projects

Bioreach’s LabAid initiative is excited to announce the launch of a new project aimed at fortifying the laboratory infrastructure in a rural region of Somalia. Currently, we are in the comprehensive needs assessment phase of the project, where we are evaluating the specific requirements and challenges faced by the local laboratories. We are committed to ensuring that the laboratory systems in this region are equipped with the necessary resources to provide accurate and timely diagnostic services. We look forward to sharing more detailed information about this project in the near future.

LabAid is dedicated to making a tangible impact on Laboratory Medicine in developing countries.

Together, let’s build stronger laboratory systems, empower healthcare professionals, and improve the health and well-being of communities in need.
